This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit readyforpuppy.co.uk. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version
This site has no accounts, no logins, no newsletter and no comment section. I do not ask you for your name, your email or anything else. The only way I learn anything about you is if you choose to email me.
Who is responsible
Ready for Puppy is run by an individual, not a company. For any question about your data, or to exercise any of the rights below, email contact@readyforpuppy.co.uk.
What is collected, and by whom
By me, directly: nothing. There is no form on this site that collects personal data.
By the hosting provider. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to serve the page and to protect the site from attack, including IP addresses. This is handled under Cloudflare’s own privacy terms.
By affiliate networks, when you click an affiliate link. This is the important one. When you click a link to a retailer, that retailer or its affiliate network places a cookie in your browser so it can tell that the visit came from this site and pay the commission. That cookie belongs to them, not to me, and it is governed by their privacy policy — Amazon’s, Awin’s, or the individual brand’s. I never see who you are; I see only that a sale happened.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own for tracking or advertising. Affiliate cookies are set by the retailers, as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and nothing on this site will stop working if you do — the only effect is that a purchase would not be attributed to this site.
If you email me
Your email address and the content of your message stay in my inbox. I use them only to reply to you. I do not add you to any list, and I do not pass your message to anyone. If you would like your email deleted, ask and I will delete it.
Your rights under UK GDPR
If you are in the UK, you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it. Since this site holds no personal data beyond emails you have sent me voluntarily, these requests are usually simple. Email contact@readyforpuppy.co.uk and I will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This site is aimed at adults buying equipment for a dog. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 13.

Pages here link to other websites. Once you leave this site, this policy no longer applies, and I have no control over what those sites do with your data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
